LSD Pictures

LSD Pictures were made whilst the subjects were under the influence of LSD and suspended in the heightened and empathetic state that it can induce.

"Beauty beckons us toward a gap internal to the real itself, a gap that beauty itself cannot enclose or limit, no matter how close it comes to perfection. The risk of beauty obliges us to take into account the negative, the imperfect, what makes a line falter or come apart, without seeking to sublimate anything—neither aestheticism nor ornamentation. The movement of beauty, like a state of grace, remains incomplete. It is a verb more than a noun. It is, in this sense, perhaps a secret mathematics of the real, like the gesture of a photographer when he takes the picture: what he captures is already elsewhere, invisible in what he will give us to be seen."
